Field Trips

Take Learning Outside!

School groups come to our campus or meet The Ecology School staff at another outdoor location, such as a nature preserve, state park, or your own school-yard. We tailor your field experience to cover your curriculum needs – all lessons align with Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards to help students meet curricular goals through experiential, engaging and unique learning opportunities.

Daily Schedule
Full day Field trips generally run 4 hours, anytime between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, and include time for lunch. Visits can be tailored to fit your school day and transportation needs.

On an Ecology School Field Trip you can expect to:

  • Explore amazing ecosystems – Access to beaches, sand dunes, ponds, rivers, streams, forests, and tide pools.

  • Spend time outside of school – Together students will learn how to be better stewards in an exciting natural environment.

  • Learn important science concepts and skills through active, hands-on lessons taught by professional educators.
