Ecology School at Cocoons
ECOLOGY ADVENTURE DAY CAMP at Cocoons
Cocoons Day School, Kennebunk – Are you ready to be a nature detective? Or try your hand at being a map maker? How about searching for tiny creatures that live all around us? Join us as we explore the forest, fields and ocean near Cocoons Day School in Kennebunk to discover the secrets that nature has to tell us!
Week 1: July 23-27 "Living Tiny in the Meadow and Forest"
It would be wild to live in the Cocoons meadow or forest if you were only 2" tall! Where would you hide? What would you eat? Where would you sleep? Cocoons campers will pretend that they are tiny for a whole week. They will explore, build and create to survive outside at Cocoons. Campers will also spend Friday exploring the back bay near Mother's Beach...a magical ocean estuary!
Week 2: August 6-10 "Mysteries Around Us"
Nature is full of amazing mysteries. On Monday campers will be deputized as " Ecology Detectives in Training" before embarking on a week's worth of adventures! Every day teams of campers will be presented with a new case and be given clues to solve the mystery of the day. Without question, some incredible discoveries will be made! Campers will also spend Friday exploring the back bay near Mother's Beach... a magical ocean estuary!
