Field Trips

Take Learning Outside!

School groups come to our coastal campus or meet Ecology School staff at another outdoor location, such as a nature preserve, state park, or your own school-yard. We tailor your field experience to cover your curriculum needs – all lessons align with Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards to help students meet curricular goals through experiential, engaging and unique learning opportunities.

$20/student Full Day — includes 2 lessons
$14/student Half Day — 1 lesson

Daily Schedule
Full day Field trips generally run 4 hours, anytime between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, and include time for lunch on our campus. Visits can be tailored to fit your school day and transportation needs.

On an Ecology School Field Trip you can expect to:

  • Explore amazing ecosystems – Our coastal campus provides access to beaches, sand dunes, salt marshes, ponds, coastal forests, plus our garden and compost center.

  • Spend time outside of school – together students will learn how to be better stewards in an exciting natural environment.

  • Learn important science concepts and skills through active, hands-on lessons taught by professional educators.
